Hey kids,
Anyone know how long it takes to here back from UConn and how they inform you (email/snail)? I interviewed the first week of Dec. and was wondering when I might expect to here something. How often do their Adcoms meet and when was the last meeting?

I interviewed on Nov 18 and still haven't heard a word. I was told it would take 6-8 weeks, and I've just passed the 6-week mark since my interview. I don't know how often the committee meets, but I'm pretty sure they do all of their notifications via snail mail.

I interviewed in early Oct and mine came via snail mail, 4 weeks to the day (although I had been told 4-6 weeks as well).

I interviewed on Dec 12 (or around that date???) and was accepted via snail mail around Dec 23. I am an out of state applicant. I think they inform out of staters a little earlier, but that may just be a rumor. I wish you all good news!!

I was accepted, one of my top choices at the moment depending on how things with a few other schools work out. I was also oos, so the oos'ers hearing faster might have some truth . . .
