UCSF incoming students (2004)

Hey UCSF incoming students,

I'll be attending UCSF this fall and I got a letter from them inviting me to attend a reception on May 21st. Just wondering if you guys got the letter as well and if you're planning on going. I don't know how important it is to attend it. Anyone.. any ideas?

We've been talking about this in the "Who's Going to UCSF?" thread. I think in the future, we should try to stick to one thread, and the other one is the one being used right now. Go check it out.

But to answer your questions, I don't think it is important to go at all. It's more of an opportunity to meet people. If you live in the area, I'd recommend going. Otherwise, IMO, it's not worth the money. A few of us plan on going, but it's all in that other thread.
