UCSF vs. Johns Hopkins

I need your advice. Would you rather go to UCSF or Johns Hopkins? and why?

spent a summer at JHU. Johns Hopkins is great if you want to do research or want to be a specialist...or you feel like taking up karate or any self-defense martial arts

But I would go to UCSF in a heart beat. And I can't even apply there, dammit!
