UF cell phone

I'll be moving to Gainesville, FL soon and was planning on getting a cell phone instead of a house line. I like US Cellular the best. They seem to have the best plan for me, and I think they own all/most of the cell phone towers in the area. Anyone know if US Cellular is good in gainseville or of any other companies I should look into or avoid? Thanks!

i used sprint and it was great, but i think it's overpriced there now. my mom just switched from sprint to u.s. cellular because they have a great local/regional plan and she doesn't travel much, so she doesn't need to worry about roaming fees. i think so far she's pretty happy with the switch, although i've noticed when talking to her long-distance that she doesn't soudn quite as clear as she did with sprint - not a big problem, though.
