I received my acceptance offer on January 14th.
I interviewed on January 13th so it was a one-day turnaround for me, I'm not sure if that's usually how they do it but definitely not complaining.

@travelgirl98 , I am out of state and was accepted. I really don't think it matters where you live as long as you're competitive - you're competitive.

@mendelevium , thank you! I JUST paid it. They sent me an email today confirming that they received my acceptance form and deposit. (Had to mail a check or money order and I sent it Monday). The deadline was this Friday (January 29th) so I was cutting it pretty close haha.

If you guys have any questions, feel free to ask me! Obviously I won't be giving out specific MMI questions.

I also wondering how many writing promps were given on interview day, and when you received inverview offer after you got email including all of your supplement were received.

Thank you.

@Sassy Pharm , sure thing. This is all information and hours/time when I submitted PharmCAS.

November 6th - submitted my supplemental application.
November 10th - received an email saying I was done with Step 2 of the application process (met all GPAs and all my documents were in, etc) and my application was now being reviewed by the Admissions Committee (said it takes ~2-3 weeks for a decision)
December 8th - received an interview offer.
January 13th - interviewed.
January 14th - received an acceptance offer.

There was only 1 writing prompt the day of the interview.

Education:
  • 6th Year Undergraduate Student, Double major in Biology and Neuroscience (graduating this semester)
  • Overall GPA: 3.49
  • Science GPA: 3.33 (I've received a C in Biology 1, Anatomy, Physiology, and Microbiology - retook Biology 1 for an A and Microbiology for a B)
  • PCAT Composite: 92%
  • 5 out of 6 Q-drops (I guess withdrawals from courses)
  • Originally a Nursing Student that was 3 semesters from graduating that changed his mind to pursue Pharmacy - one reason why I'm a 6th year.
Extracurricular:
  • Currently President of the Pre-Pharmacy organization
  • Currently Chairman (President) of a Student Board at a hospital
  • Volunteered at a local volunteer healthcare clinic and hospital (combined ~400 hours)
  • Undergraduate Research Assistant for an alcohol dependence lab (~4 months when I applied)
  • Shadowed Paramedics/Nurses in Labor and Delivery and ER (~60 hours)
Work Experience:
  • Currently Pharmacy Technician (~5 months when I applied)
  • Currently Teacher's Assistant for Statistics courses (taught for 11 semesters)
  • Tutor for 1 semester for Statistics/Biostatistics
  • And roughly 9-10 other part-time jobs in the past, all retail so LOTS of customer service
Awards (all filled out):
  • Finalist for Student Employee of the Year Award (for Teaching Assistant)
  • President's Volunteer Service Award - Gold Medal
  • Miscellaneous things from my Pre-Pharmacy organization/scholarships
I am not trying to brag, I just wanted to provide as much information about my application as possible. I'm really open to helping other students realize that it's not all about GPA/PCAT (although I did do well on my PCAT by luck haha).
Wow, fabulous stats, and thank you for sharing your stats.
You deserved to be accepted.

did anyone who is out-of-state get any grants for the financial aid award package? I got nothing except loans...is that normal?

Wow, they've made it really hard to get into now. I graduated last year...the experience was awesome. Get ready to have no life unless you'll live on campus and join a frat. 4th year is the best
