Hey All,

Has anyones received interviews yet at University Illinois - Chicago. I am curious since this is one of my two state schools and would love a chance to get in early. I visited the school last october (around the 15th) during an interview day and seeing that october is slowly sneaking up I just wanted to know if anyone knew what was up.

i sent my secondary in a couple wks ago, still no word

i submitted my secondary two weeks ago. I actually interviewed there in 2002. i got my invite early october. so i guess we should hear from them soon

submitted the secondary on July 29. no word. i don't think they have a status check on their website either. did anyone call to find out if you're complete/under review?

They do have a status check - It's http://mercury.comd.uic.edu/appstat/

They gave you the password in some e-mail they sent you awhile ago when they invited you for the secondary or maybe when they received it.

I haven't heard from them either. I just checked the site (thanks for link, I'm too lazy to look it up myself) and apparently they have recieved my fee two weeks ago, but my bank says they haven't cashed my check. What are they waiting for?

I'm still sitting on my secondary for UIC because I don't meet the requirement for 3 semesters of social science - I have only one semester of psych and one of social analysis. I sent an email asking about substitutions or forgiveness of this pre-req, but haven't heard back yet.

I don't want to delay my secondary any longer than I have to. Does anyone know if the social science requirement is ever relaxed?

You should submit your application asap. UIC doesn't care about your 3 semesters of social science as long as you complete the requirement prior to matriculation.
