I have 2 cousins working in the UK, one is a senior house officer in psych & the other is a senior registra in medicine. They always boast to me that they make up to 50,000(sterling pounds). Is this true? I am quiet fed up with these 2,can someone working in the UK tell me actually how much doctors make(house officers, consultants , GPs etc)?

I'd suggest moving your post to the International Forum as there are some UK students there who might have more insight as to your query. Typically the respondents here are only concerned with the US system.

I'll move it for you...

The important thing to note on the BMA page is the pay banding system. If, for example, your relatives are working anti-social hours, they may very well be in jobs with a Band 3 loading, and thus they'll make double the unadjusted figures (i.e. more than 50 000).
