Has anyone heard from UMass either way? I sent in my secondary a while ago but haven't been verified by AMCAS as of yet. Are they accepting MCAT scores from students (or paper applications for that matter)?

Also, has anyone heard about an interview yet?

I have an interview tomorrow 10/23. My application was complete and in review sometime around 10/12.

I sent in my secondary around 9/20. I haven't called them because I know that other schools have my recommendations (all were sent from undergraduate school at the same time) and secondary (I sent all of them at the same time) I haven't been verified by those f@ckers at AMCAS yet (submitted 8/1) and haven't heard a peep from UMass. There was another post where I think someone said that UMass contacted them when their file was complete...

Good luck

Good Luck ajz! Please let us know how it is.
I submitted my secondary a while ago and haven't heard anything. I was verified just last week. I called admissions earlier and they are currently NOT accepting paper copies of MCAT scores or the AMCAS application. They are waiting for verified apps, so if you're not verified that's probably why you haven't heard anything from them yet. You guys really need to get on AMCAS to verify your apps. that's what I did and it worked. Bug them until they do it!

Specifically, bug Nancy Tillinghast by fax or e-mail, threatening legal action for out-of-order processing, especially if you submitted quite a while ago (like over 2 months). That seems to work.

U-Mass sends regular mail notification for interviews. However, my group had email notification. The admissions woman had a time crunch to get us in for Oct. 23 so she emailed us instead. She did mention that the normal notification process is snail mail. Hope this helps any UMass applicants. Good luck to you all!!
