UMD Evening Program Now Charges In-State Rates Regardless of Your Address

This is a terrific choice if you want just the minimum prereqs filled and you want it done cheaply. Very smart move on Maryland's part to eliminate out of state tuition. And I'm surprised it offers some good upper level science classes. Too bad you can't take any math or English classes without paying the extra tuition.

I wish they had done this a year earlier when I was taking classes there. Oh well.

It's a good program. I've taken most of my pre-reqs at College Park. The professors are good and the classes are small. The only course I've heard people have problems with was Physics, mostly because the professor was not much of a lecturer.
