Hello- there has been some debate on here regaridng if those with weaker stats should apply to cheaper, unaccredited schools. The schools that admit their third class in fall 2017 have gone through accreditation and their first class will be able to take the NBCOT in May/August/December when their first cohort graduates.

My advise has been to only attend an unaccredited school if you are part of the second class. This way you will find out in December before the first semester ends if the school receives accreditation and will not be about to graduate like the first class. Imagine spending 2 years and $50-100,000 on tuition and not being able to take the NBCOT license test...

Here are the current unaccredited schools:

Delaware: Wesley College (OK Fall 2017 second class)

Florida: Keiser University (OK Fall 2017 third class)

Georgia: Georgia State University (OK Fall 2017 second class)

Illinois: Elmhurst College (OK Fall 2017 second class)

Mass- Regis College (OK Fall 2017 second class)

Missouri- Cox College (OK Fall 2017 third class)
Missouri State (OK Fall 2017 third class)

Nebraska Methodist College (OK Fall 2017 second class)

New York
Clarkson University (OK Fall 2017 third class)
Hofstra University (OK Fall 2017 third class)

Ohio
Walsh University NOT OK (Fall 2017 FIRST class)

Pennsylvania
Messiah College NOT OK (Fall 2017 FIRST class)

Virginia
Emory and Henry College OK (Fall 2017 second class)

Hope this helps! Please correct me if I'm wrong about any school.
