UNC prelim year surgery

What's up folks,

First off, congrats to everyone who matched!
Had a question about a prelim surgery year at UNC...scrambled into one of these spots yesterday to be close to my fiancee. I don't plan on going into gen surg residency; I'm starting radiology residency my second year.

Anyone out there familiar with UNC's program, particularly the prelim year experience?

I will also like to know about this. I will be trying for a categorical spot for gen surg at UNC. I have heard its a great program but i haven't rotated thru there yet. The campus is beautiful if that counts for anything. I am from NC.
