Undergrad biochem book useful in d-school?

I wondered if any d-students have used your Biochemistry book from undergrad. My professor indicated that it may be helpful, but I wanted to get your perspective. Thanks!

maybe ... there were a couple topics i reread in my undergrad biochem books after it didn't really make sense in the required book.

I thought most schools were requiring Biochem as a prereq. now! At my school most of the first year didactic courses came with a professor-written syllabus that had all the info we needed. I never once cracked open any of my undergrad books.
 
absolutely use it as a reference. The charts and figures may also come handy during boards
