Ok, first of all it is nice to be back on the forum. I have been gone for a while. No my question. In talking to my premed advisor I was told that I should take 12-15 credit hours per term. Unfortunatly I do not have the tme nor money to do this. Have any of you folks gotten into med school taking 1-3 courses per term? Thanks guys.

  3. Matt...

I think it perfectly acceptable to take 1-3 courses per term as long as you are working or otherwise gainfully upright and not slacking on your parent's couch.

Ad Coms are not the vicious vipers most see them to be. They may ask why you only took a couple of courses per semester, but they will understand if you need to work to put food in your mouth, etc.

    best of luck...
