undergraduate degree

just curious, will having an undergraduate degree in math and physics help in matching into rad onc or is it really irrelevant?

Depends on what you do with your degrees.
I know a guy with a nuclear engineering degree. During med sch he did research in Rad Onc at MD Anderson Cancer Center. He matched with UC Irvine and now practices in San Diego.
