Univ of Maryland vs. Mercer

Hi guys Im new to this forum. But I was just wondering about these two schools. I got into b oth of them, both of them are out of state for me. Univ of Maryland being further. Does anyone have an idea how cost of living compares in Baltimore vs. Atlanta. Also I have a question for those who are out of state students that went to U of MD, I heard there are some special requirments you have to have to become an instate resident after a year. I heard you have to work at the school a certain number of hours. Is it difficult getting residency for some people. My cousin went to U of H and she thought she could become a resident, but she actually had to live there a year before she started school to get it. Sorry I know I have a million questions its just that I just foudn out and I have like 2 days to send my deposit. Any info would help.

I would guess that the cost of living is less in Atlanta. I know that I can live there more cheaply than here in the Tampa Bay area. Baltimore is really close to DC and I would hazard a guess that it is pretty expensive.

I've been to both cities and they both have lots of fun things to do when you have time off. It's a hard choice. Good luck.
