does umich need our transcript to be sent by us (like ucla and ucsf did) or just through aadsas, like we did when we submitted our apps? thanks!

umich makes you send your transcripts straight to them. They will not accept only the ones from AADSAS.

umich makes you send your transcripts straight to them. They will not accept only the ones from AADSAS.

To clarify, AADSAS does not actually send your official transcript to any of your schools. They just verify by themselves that the transcript(s) you sent to them is/are official, and then they total up your gpa by themselves. Then they just send the gpas and the grades you entered in for your coursework to the dental schools. So, AADSAS never actually sends your transcript anywhere. Therefore, if schools do ask for a transcript, it will be because they want to see the official transcript for themselves.
