Uhh, I've heard some bad **** about that place, many lawsuits and complaints of their alleged "useless" degress that no one accepts. I don't trust places like that, I've heard bad **** about Cappella University, Devry, etc...

The second article is a joke (from a farsical website), so don't take it seriously.

I've heard mixed things about online programs in general and University of Phoenix in particular, though I'm definitely not an expert. It seems like the value of such a program would be questionable at best, depending on what you want the master's degree for. For instance, if you're interested in research this degree would be fairly useless, as there seems to be no active thesis component and only one course in methodology. I would definitely consider more traditional programs first-- have you had trouble finding other Master's programs that meet your needs? What are you interested in?

Too expensive and not well regarded. You'd be better off going to a local university or college, many of which have less expensive and more respected degree programs.

I'm not saying online degrees are bad....but in the psych world, they aren't looked upon favorably.
