University at Buffalo or Albany Medical College for Neuro Residency?

Trying to decide on my top choice, want to move to NYS but cannot decide these two cities/programs.

I want to raise a family and still want a city with culture and things to do.

Which would you choose?

Hi! I'm a student at AMC and love neuro. Being from Florida, I have enjoyed the location in Albany. While the downtown itself is not the spark, the close proximity to the mountains, Boston, NYC, and Canada make it such a fun place to live with opportunity. Also, Albany has great caliber research and opportunity in neurology, with the Neural Stem Cell Institute 10 min away! If given the choice to do neuro here or Buffalo, I'd prefer here, but that's just me. Personally, if you are ending up here, I would live in the suburbs 10 min away from the center - I could give some suggestions - I'm assuming with match you already know where you're going?
