The following self-reported data is true for the current class to be admitted in 2009: (These are not final data and will change as applicants make their final decisions.)

FIU: 3.51/31.1
FSU: 3.60/29.1
UCF: 3.79/32.8
UF: 3.74/33.1
UM: 3.66/32.1
USF: 3.71/31.6

As for out-of-state friendliness: UM, as a private, takes roughly 1/3 each year from outside of Florida. USF has taken ~12 per year (~10%), UF ~3-5 (~3%), UCF ~10 (~25% of charter class). Refer to MSAR for most accurate data for each program.

That's odd. It appears that GPAs for Florida schools have dropped across the board while the MCATs have risen. These numbers will, of course, change in minor ways over the next month, but one would expect a further downward move. I'm curious what, if anything, is behind this.
