About the apartment:
Looking for someone to rent a room in a huge, vintage apartment located near 57th and Dorchester - next to the University of Chicago. The place is 1000+ square feet and you would have your own bedroom, but share a bathroom. Large living room has a decorative fireplace, and a beautiful door that opens up to a vintage patio. Hardwood floors and dark wood throughout. Eat-in kitchen. Dishwasher. The only utilities you would have to pay would be 1/2 of electric and internet. Heat, water and garbage are included. Laundry is in the basement - $2.50 for wash and dry. There is only street parking available.
About your potential new roommates:
Your roommates are both professional people who work as well as study. One is a physician working at the University of Chicago and studying for his examinations. The other roommate works, is going to school and studying for her LSATs.There will be two small parrots, as well as a very friendly and clean cat that hang around. No other pets, please.
What we are looking for in a roomie:
Someone who is quiet, clean, friendly, and focused on their studies. This is the perfect place for a resident, med student, grad student or law student. No drugs, parties, smoking, or live-in boyfriends/girlfriends.
