Those of you who go to the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine, please tell me what your experience in the clinic has been like. What is the strength of the clinical program? I know that the ACTS program is great and gives you real-world experience in dentistry but as far as the clinical requirements, what are the number of root canals, crowns, fillings etc. Do students do implants? Overall, would you say that CU has a strong clinical program?

Also, I know that there is a screening clinic for patients, but do students have to track those patients down? What is the actual process of scheduling patients from the screening clinic like? Does every student have a good chance of getting patients for their requirements?

Lastly, do students have a high chance of getting into specialties at CU or at other schools?

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated, thanks!
