I’ve seen quite a few discussion threads on here focused on the University of Denver's PsyD program, but not a whole lot about their Clinical Child Psychology Ph.D. program. I know most of the basic stats for the Ph.D. program, but I’d like to hear people’s actual experiences with DU. I’m particularly interested to know about the quality of training and if it's on par with other clinical psychology programs in Colorado and if the Developmental Cognitive Neuroscience Specialization is worth doing, or if I’d be better off worrying about specializing later on during my postdoc.

Are you looking to specialize in neuropsych?

Yes, I'm looking to specialize in pediatric neuropsych, which is why I' interested in the Developmental Cognitive Neuroscience Specialization. I'm mostly concerned like I said though with the quality of the training for DU's Ph.D. program, as I can't seem to find very much about the program outside of what's on their website.

Maybe it's just different phrasing, but developmental cognitive neuroscience doesn't sound like neuropsych or a track in a licensable program. You should inquire directly to determine of it leads to licensure if that's an important goal for you.
