How many people in here applying for University of Findlay??? Why I don't see anyone talks about this school of pharmacy?? 😕 😕 . The deathline is Feb 1

There has been at least one thread on Findlay in the last 6 months or so. It's buried somewhere in the forum.

I think since they call it a "deathline" it scares everyone away.

1. Email karen for more info

2. Apply to the unversity of findlay first, fill out the transfer application and wait until 1 week for acceptance letter. 3.0 is required

3. Once you guys get accepted from unversity of findlay, then email Keren to send you guys the pharmacy application to fill out . The application is one page only and it's very simple. No recommendation letter is required. No PCAT is required.

The deathline is Feb 1.

Interesting. Do you think I can do it by the first? I have 10 days. So after you are accepted as a transfer student, are you able to enter a 4 year Pharm D program or is it 6 years? I already have a BA, but am taking prereqs now, does this exclude me from consideration.

you guys have only 10 days left, talk to the transfer department to tell them do it quickly before Feb 1.

You guys need to fill out the transfer application online and send your transcript right away.

Not fully, It just got precandidate status. (At least so their website says.) Based on all the posts regarding all the other pre-candidate, canditate schools, this should mean it's worth considering. It just doesnt have the experience of a fully accredited school.

I called and got the STAT's-They received 1000+ applications for the general admission in to the school of pharmacy.(The 1st phase, where you send the general application in and wait for general college acceptance). I don't remember how many they invited to apply to the pharmacy program (the 2nd step after the initial application-where you write an essay and submit it along with $50) They narrowed it down to 200 people that they invited to interview and they will offer 60 seats. Pretty competetive for a school that isn't fully accredited yet. The school seems very well run and the admissions office is incredibly helpful. It seems like a great university from what I've seen and heard.

Did u guys relize the first yr when they opened this pharm school only 160 students applied. Reason being is no one knew about the school and there was nothing on there website,. Pretty much word of mouth. They narrowed down to 60 students. This school is a 0+6 yr school. No point applying becasue they only take couple students in if u finshed prepharm somewhere else. Its similar to Toledo.
