i had a question about the supplemental application for UF. in the campus ranking form, how do you give reasons for why for example jacksonville is your 1st preference? is it ok to give personal reasons? if anyone could reply me asap it would be greatly appreciated. thank you so much.

Personal reasons are fine. Usually the preferences are personal such as "my wife and children live in Jacksonville".

Unless you are trying for Gainesville don't worry too much about getting the campus of your choice. I don't know anyone who was denied a satellite campus choice but do know plenty who wound up in other places but wanting to go to Gainesville. I doubt they will uproot you if you have a job, home, family in the area.

How does one answer the question: "Briefly, describe what you can contribute to the University of Florida College of Pharmacy as a pharmacy student. Concisely state why the Admissions Committee should invite you to attend the College of Pharmacy"?
I am having serious trouble answering this. What can I contribute to a pharmacy school other than my money, my brain and my time?
I guess I just don't quite get exactly what it is they want to know here! help!! Anyone!

I think they're looking for, in part, a feel for how self-confident you are. Pick something you really like about yourself (with respect to academia or profession) and talk about it.

i am having the same problem. i am trying to think what to write but i so dont know how to start it? troy replied and i think he is rite, thats what they r looking for. if i find something, i will definitely let you know. thanks for putting this question on cuz even i have the same question...thanks!
