I'll be starting at UK next fall ('02), and have been very happy thus far in my dealings with the administration.

I also want to update the UK info:

Wow. As I've sold my whole life to the University of Kentucky, I think I'm sort of an expert on it. ("Seven years of college, down the drain", as Bluto Blutarski put it so aptly.) The area code for UK is 859, not 696, was the main thing I was going to add. It's on a newer type of curriculum, where the basic science classes are arranged into blocks. (1st year: 13 weeks of anatomy, including embryo, and histology together, then 12 weeks of biochem and genetics together, then something like 8 weeks of neurosciences and 8 weeks of physiology, along with other classes sprinkled in such as Healthy Human, Intro to Medical Profession, and Physicians, Patients, and Society - I think that's what PPS stood for anyway. 2nd year: 12 weeks of Immunity, Infection, and Disease, then a 26 week block of pathology and pharmacology together, along with the sequels to IMP and PPS.) The 3rd and 4th years are pretty traditional, though, I believe. Class size usually starts around 95-100.
