Not a current or past student, a family member taught the med students. Con, is completing the patient requirements. As the DDS program is at the Ann Arbor campus, it is more of a uni. town therefore difficulty in finding patients. Hope that helps.

Not sure how old this statement is, but I don't think it's true anymore. I interviewed there this month. There aren't 'strict' requirements, they set you up with a patient family pool, and you do community outreach in your 4th year (where you do over 300 procedures).

Anyways, it's a great school!

The pros are definitely the rate that students tend to specialize, the school/athletic atmosphere, the research opportunities. The cons would be that the patient base is relatively younger thus you may not get the vast array of patients in comparison to other schools.
