Hello,

This statement on the Pittsburgh website kind of confused me: An applicant may submit an additional personal statement to the Office of Admissions if it is felt that the application does not allow for disclosure of information relevant to scholastic performance. Can anyone clarify?

Thanks

an applicant may submit an addition personal statement to the office of admissions if it is felt that the application (AADSAS PS) does not disclose all info relevant to your scholastic performance (explain why your grades were low, academic probation, etc.)

That is pretty much what I thought. Their wording was pretty poor, though.

Thank you
