To anyone accepted, what were your stats like?
Not a problem! I asked a lot of question myself when I was going through the application process. I applied to the Austin campus October 1st and found out a month later that I had an interview for November 21 (the day of the interview I had described on page 4).Thanks for answering all my questions! Your awesome!
Just two more weeks until the interview. I'm starting to get pretty nervous, hopefully the interview isn't as bad as I think it is.
Hi everyone,
I still have not heard anything about interviews. I applied to the MOT program in San Marcos. I am thinking that I am not getting an interview since I haven't heard. Has anyone interviewed for San Marcos campus for Fall 2016?
I applied for the Full-time DPT at the San Marcos campus and I still have not heard anything. Colleen Lyons keeps on informing me they are still in the process of notifying applicants. I have a feeling I am not going to be getting an interview sigh
I just got an email today for an interview in the St Augustine campus on March 18th at 9:00 AM.After reading previous post and talking with current students at the FL campus this stage of the process can take awhile. Going off last Fall's class which people were finding out in April & May. I agree the lack of news/information they tell us is discouraging hence the saying "no news is bad news". I guess the good thing is they have to email us something eventually to let us know if we're denied or not ha. Any other FL campus people on here waiting for an interview?
Congrats! Hopefully a few of us from the San Marcos campus will be hearing back soonI just got an email today for an interview in the St Augustine campus on March 18th at 9:00 AM.
Hello,There is no longer an essay
Hello,
I'm currently awaiting my interview at the St. Augustine Campus so I've been reading up on what the process was like. I've seen several posts talking about an essay portion (although those have been in the past) and was wondering how you know for sure there is no essay portion. Sorry if that sounds as though I am questioning you, I mean it more as "when was it that you went through this process, and was it at the St. Augustine campus?" Also while I am asking, what were some of the interview questions like?
I just interviewed in November (and got accepted) at the Austin campus and there was no essay. The all run things the same way on use the same systems and what not (they are all connected)Hello,

Were you interviewing for Summer 16 or Fall 16?Hey, I interviewed at San Marcos campus on 2/12 and there's definitely no essay. The whole interview day took less than 3 hours and was very organized! You start as a group for orientation, you break into two groups - 1) interview then tour and 2) tour then interview. These groups are preassigned before your arrival. Your questions will vary based on your interviewer and campus, but expect 1 faculty interviewing a group of 2-3 students. You'll take turns, but it seemed quite relaxed and conversational. There's an old post on this forum that lists almost all possible interview questions and you can check out Dalin Hansen's "creating a DPT" blog for how his interview day went with USA. Hope this helps!

Hi all! First time visiting this page. I'll be interviewing on 2/26 at the St. Augustine campus as well! Has anyone received any kind of confirmation email after RSVPing to your initial invitation? Best of luck to everyone!
Congrats on your interview! Did you apply for the Flex program? I applied for the Flex DPT. and although she said it would be the end of this month that we would hear about interviews I am nervous that I have not heard anything yet. Has anyone else that applied for the Flex program heard about interviews?I just got an email today for an interview in the St Augustine campus on March 18th at 9:00 AM.
Thanks. I confirmed with them this morning. Big sigh of relief haha.Hey! When I RSVP'd, they emailed me back saying "Thank you for your email confirmation, we look forward to meeting you!"

Do you know if they are done having interviews at the San Marcos campus? I haven't heard anything from them. No rejection, no interview. Nothing. Think my application was lost? I've been in contact with Colleen Lyons and she stated she has submitted my application.I also interviewed at San Marcos on 2/12! Have you heard back if you have been accepted yet? I feel like I'm checking my email and application all of the time!
I also interviewed at St. Augustine's San Marcos campus on the 12th. It seems that they're doing the interviews in waves as there is another interview scheduled on the 26th. I'm not sure if there is any others scheduled after that, but there very well might be.Do you know if they are done having interviews at the San Marcos campus? I haven't heard anything from them. Thank you for the response. Who specifically did you contact? Someone from admissions or a counselor?I also interviewed at St. Augustine's San Marcos campus on the 12th. I had to ride St. Augustine every step of the way to get my application through. I'd suggest becoming a thorn in their side and keep asking for information until you can get a hold of someone who can give you a straight answer.
I talked with Carolyn Perryman when I was filling out my application. I had a lot of trouble uploading my documents which seems to be a common problem for everyone that's applied. However, since you've already submitted your app I'd recommend contacting Jennifer Finn in admissions. She's the one in charge of the admissions process at the San Marcos campus from what I understand.Thank you for the response. Who specifically did you contact? Someone from admissions or a counselor?
For all San Marcos applicants for Fall 2016.
This is an email I received from the Admissions specialist at the San Marcos campus.
"We have only had one interview day for Fall DPT, and that was for the highest qualified candidates. We will host one more interview day, however that is for anyone that could not make the first interview date, or someone that has competitive GPAs with the candidates that have already interviewed."
"Should your file, or any other applicant’s file, that is staged under a Pre-Interview Waitlist, will be reviewed and possibly be invited for the last interview day next month. We keep interviewing based on how many seats we have available."
Jennifer Finn, Shes the admissions specialist for the San Marcos campusWas wondering, who did you receive this email from?
Just went to the fl campus interview today and it was a lot of fun. They had about 107 students there (said it was the largest interview group they have had yet, however I also do not know how many were dpt/mot and flex/non flex). They started off with an oreintation that took up a majority of the time. Then a group a went on a tour and then had interviews (2 to 3 people in one interview). Group b followed 30 mins after. Just as everyone has states before, the interview is very laid back, so dont overthink it. They seem to ask questions pertaining to your past experiences. They asked me and the other interviewee a lot on work experience, integrity, and communication. They also said we should hear back jn 2-3 weeks on acceptances/ denials. Hope this helps some!
I just got my acceptance letter for the San Marcos campus! I'm happy to say that I will be attending
Hey. Yes I interviewed last weekend for the February 26th interview. I interviewed for the fall 2016 cohort. Haven't heard anything back yet, they said it would be 3 weeks for a decision!I received an invite today to interview at the Austin campus on March 18th. Sure! If you read the above posts, it's as relaxed as people say it is.there were about75 candidates. We had orientation, campus tour, interview and lunch. We were broken up into 3 groups A,B,C. In the interview ur supposed to interview with 1-2 other applicants. For some strange reason, I guess an applicant didn't show up ? But I interviewed by myself . It was cool. They really just try to get to know you. They ask mostly personal questions. I was nervous at first but the interviewer made it less stressful.make sure u ask questions. Thus 3 week wait us killer but I got my prayers up. Good luck . Ru interviewing for the fall?Oh ok, I didn't realize it just passed. I hope it went well! Any advice?
Do you happen to know how many of the 75 were PT?Sure! If you read the above posts, it's as relaxed as people say it is.there were about75 candidates. I believe everyone was PT. it was a mix of regular dpt and flex dpt.Do you happen to know how many of the 75 were PT?
I have read through the occupational forum and some had an interview on the same date as PT/flex PT.I believe everyone was PT. it was a mix of regular dpt and flex dpt.

That is great they are starting to interview for the Miami campus, I know so many people in graduation class who are waiting for an invitation for Miami. When I interviewed at St. Augustine on the 26th, this past friday. We had about 105 people there, and there were people interviewing for DPT, MOT, FLEX, and some people interviewing for Miami campus. They didn't say exactly how many of each.
February 19th was supposed to be my original interview date and it was changed to the 26th. If there were only 5 dpt's interviewing , maybe that was their second interview for fall applicants? I'm pretty sure there wasn't a single MOT in our group. Our folders all had nothing but DPT information and the Director of the program spoke and it was only about PT.I interviewed at the Austin campus on February 19th for the fall. Mostly MOT with about 5 DPT and flex. But I'm not sure if the DPTs were there for summer or fall.
congrats buddy!!! what campus and semester?I will also be interviewing March 18th!
I will also be interviewing March 18th!
Sorry for the delay! But I'll be interviewing for the San Marcos campus, and I'm doing the regular DPT route. Does anyone know if this is the last interview date at all?Are you doing the dual program? And I'm guessing for the St. Augustine campus interview on the 18th?
