Does anyone know of a reason that only 466 people applied to the University of Tennessee (according to Predents.com)? This numbers seems awfully low...

Yeah, it takes mostly instate students and the number of out of staters is a little skewed because TN and Arkansas have an agreement that they will admit 15 Arkansas students a year.

Plus, ditto on not being on AADSAS.

So instead of "29 out of state" it is really 14 out of state if you don't live in Arkansas.

its actually 18 ar residents, so 11 non-ar out of staters matriculate at UT-memphis.
