I know this has been asked a few times, and I tried in the Texas forum, but got no response. I was wondering if anyone had any information about out of state students applying for the 2006 FYC at Southwestern. I know that this is their first year for rolling admissions for out of state students only....

Anyone have any idea about the timeline or when oss should begin hearing about acceptance/rejection?

Hi

did you interview as an oos?
if yes do you mind sharing your stats?

I applied as well have been complete since 10/18 and have not heard anything. I am wondering if I should lose hope on it since some students stated they had received interview dates for 12/03 like a month ago... 😕

I am from TN, 4.0/34Q

I got my interview on the same day that TMDSAS finished processing my application back in august, and interviewed in October. I really loved the school and everything, problem is that my interview was absolutely terrible. Hopefully I'm overreacting etc. but its got me really nervous....

I already asked the people in the admissions office once and they said they weren't sure yet since this was the first year they were doing rolling admissions....thought I would see if anyone on here knew since I don't want to keep bothering them.

I thought I had a shot, but with the bad interview....the wait is killing me

I am out of state. Interviewed in the beginning of Oct, received acceptance letter just last week, it was postmarked Oct. 31st. Also their acceptance letter came in this envelope that is slightly larger than a normal one, but not a huge one where you don't have to fold the papers. It only looked like a sheet or two of paper was inside, so I was SO nervous when I was opening it!

Anyway, I didn't do well with the first interviewer, my voice cracked while I was giving some responses due to nervousness, but I did get a little better as it went on. It was my first interviewer at my first interview so maybe she let me off, but you never know until you get that letter. Best of luck to you!

What do you mean by bad? I think a lot of people think they had a bad interview, but it was not as bad as they thought....the interview seems to have gone worse and worse as you replay it in your head maybe?
