Update Letter/ Letter of Interest

I'm currently waitlisted at two schools and I have not sent an update with my spring grades. However, I am unsure if I should send an update because my GPA decreased slightly from 3.59 to 3.57. I think I could also use this opportunity to express my last chance of continued interest in these schools. Should I send the update or no?

Just send a LOI without the update. You have nothing to lose at this point. Explain why the school is a great fit for you and hope for the best.
