I am in a Post-bacc pre med program at a top 20 school and I recently found out that I can use my post-bacc credits to apply for a Masters in Biology.

The dilemma is that I have to declare my masters next summer so that I avoid my post-bacc GPA from becoming grad school GPA.

But...would it be okay to update medical schools saying that I am working towards my Masters and I will have it in Spring 2018?

I would be more concerned that if you commit to this change over formally, thus moving your improved post bacc GPA to a grad GPA and you are reapplicant,

Hey this is my concern too. That is why I am allowed to declare my masters next summer. So, if I have an acceptance by May next year I will declare my masters. If not, I will just keep the post-bacc credits.

Could I just say that I am completing my masters from the same institution?
