Hi,
I need some help. At my recent graduation, I was surprised to find out that I graduated number one in my respective college at my university. I am on a few waitlists and I am thinking I would like to send an update letter with that information since its a nice accomplishment and might make me more desirable to my waitlist schools. Or would that seem pretentious? I mean they already know I have a high GPA, so is a stupid thing to let them know that I graduated at the top of my class? Would they even care? Also, what would be a good way of informing them? Thanks

I'd definitely let them know.......its quite an accomplishment!

Is there some certificate you could send? Or notification on your transcript... if so, just go ahead and forward the transcript and it would end up in your file anyway. I think writing a whole letter just to state that you were number one in your class might be a little odd. You could write some about why you want to go to the particular school too I guess.
