Alright, so I picked up the phone today to call Albany for several reasons. When I asked about the web application, the lady on the line (and she was soooo polite and pleasant) said that they're putting the finishing touches on it this week. I know it seems they've been on this job for awhile, but in the end, if we don't have to go through all the hassles we went through doing our AMCAS app., I'm willing to wait a bit longer. After all it's not as if one individual has an advantage over another right now, since the entire Albany applicant pool is waiting. Right?
I don't know who works at the admissions office there, but boy does it make my day to talk to her. She's nice, friendly, and funny. Med schools need pple like her working in their admissions office.
