Update on Athletic Accomplishments

Whats up guys and gals, was wondering if you had an opinion on updating schools on athletic accomplishments. I feel that it would probably be not very helpful but maybe someone has insight. I was awarded my second varsity letter and was named to the academic all conference team, and my team more than doubled our win total from the previous year. I know it doesn't directly relate to medicine but it at least demonstrates my continued commitment to an extra curricular activity as well as leadership and capacity to contribute towards improvement. If I packaged this with a research update (poster presentation) would it be worthwhile, or am I just grasping at straws here?
