Could it be viewed negatively if one updates schools (within a letter of interest, for example) about a non-medical job, such as a position in a real estate company or a bank? The position might involve aspects that are very relevant to medicine (teamwork, communication, etc) that would be emphasized.
Of course a job is a great thing that shows professionalism and that you are busy, but would schools possibly view it in a negative light if it is not medical/clinical?
