June 4-6? Why so early? Does anybody know what will be going on for those three days and is it mandatory? Who will be going? There goes my ticket and travel plans.

Hello to all future UPitt students:
This is my first post...so I'm a bit nervous 🙂
Anyway, I have spoken to Rose Mangold, and she has confirmed that the orientation is June 4-6. It will involved housing issues, as well as white coat and scrub fittings, plus getting to know your classmates.
It's NOT manditory....which works for me since my graduation is on June. 5. So I plan on heading down to Pitt the following week.
On another note...I would like to get to know anyone from the 2007 UPitt clan, so feel free to post a message. I am Canadian, so this move is quite exciting for me...😀
