Is it worth $195 to subscribe? (Or $145 group fee).
Does anyone here use this service?
I am not aware of the quality OR the importance of this subscription.

Check with your school to see if they have a subscription. If not, I don't think it's worth getting a personal subscription as a student. It's an awesome clinical resource, though, If I was a resident and my institution didn't have it, I'd definitely subscribe, but as a student I'd save my money.

Just go to google and type in "emedicine" followed by the medical topic you want to read about

In other words, don't pay if you're a student... as there are plenty of good free resources out there to help

It's a great resource, but I wouldn't pay for it as a student either as you will probably be able to find other ways to log on (asking a resident on your team, the library, etc.) As an intern and beyond...definitely.

Your experience helps again!

Thanks!
