Hi everyone, I am currently a FM PGY-1 looking to go into Urgent Care. Anyone have any good suggestions as to books to read during residency?

Urgent care = mini ER + FP. You shouldn't have a problem. Just learn everything you can during residency. Try to moonlight 3rd year in an urgent care as a resident to get some experience (that's what I did). You will find it's really mostly like FP clinic without the chronic medical management. People come in with 1 probem. Urgent care is see it, diagnose it, treat it. move on.

Buttaravoli's Minor Emergencies book is my personal favorite when I need a quick reference book for urgent care issues.
