Wow, your interview seems amazingly early, even for an early assurance program!
The interview day was very low-key, and it was one of the best interview experiences I have had (interviewed at 13 schools). Everyone I met was really friendly.
I don't know how the day will be structured for an early assurance program, but for me (regular MD), we listened to Dr. Voytovich (dean of admissions?) talk, then we had our interviews, lunch, tour, and a brief exit meeting.
Dr. Voytovich talk: really nice guy; we did a little round table thing where we went around and introduced ourselves to the other applicants; sounds a little hokey, I know, but it was nice to meet the other students. Basically, he gave an overview of the school and highlighted positives.
faculty interview: extremely low key; had mine with Dr. Thrall -- really nice guy -- we talked about PBL, some examples of cases he and his students talked about, and he invited me to sit in on one of his classes if I was interested. He asked me why I wanted to go to U Conn, and why I wanted to be a doctor (the usual stuff).
student interview: also low key -- extremely informal, though they do write an evaluation. It seemed more of a chance for me to ask questions and to meet a student, so do your homework before you come.
Lunch, tour: usual
Exit meeting: no big deal -- what was nice was that Dr. Sanford gave us the date that we should expect to hear from the school.
Sorry I can't help with info beyond the school and research stuff -- I can't remember any of it, it was so long ago! (I interviewed in October).
Hope this helps, and good luck!
