Urine drug test cross reactivity

What are the major ones that you are aware of? Or the major misconceptions?

I saw a case of a patient that tested positive for BUP. The patient was on Codeine. Is there a possibility of cross reactivity there?

I wanted a quant but the patient refused it.

I would appreciate your thoughts regarding this.

New patient. Was on the benzo-narcotics combo. I have to check a patient's prescription database before prescribing any controlled substance in my state.

Doing a UDS is also not uncommon.

I hate to prescribe these drugs and I am not looking to increase the amount of controlled substances I prescribe but I would like to understand those tests better.
