do you guys think URM/ORM status will change if the supreme court ends affirmative action? do you think the averages of stats for URM will end up increasing?

Underrepresented in Medicine Definition
The AAMC Executive Committee adopted a clarification to its definition of "underrepresented in medicine" following the Supreme Court's decision in Grutter.
We will see what legal opinions say. But the above has been a functional definition since 2004 as approved by the board. We posters are the ones who continue URM or ORM.
Please be more specific about "stats."

Not unless we really figure out how to get rid of systemic societal racial disparities instead of denying it exists through a SC ruling. Disparities have generally worsened in the immediate aftermath of similar rulings or policies in various states until such time after adjustments were made.
