US medical degree working in the UK?

Hey. Even though I haven't matriculated into med school yet, I've been thinking lately of where I would like to eventually end up living. Having travelled lots and lived abroad in the UK for a bit, I believe that one day I really might want to settle in the UK. If I could have it my way, I would really love to go to medical school there but due to finance reasons, that isn't really feasible. Also, I've already been accepted to a US medical school that I really can't turn down (and think would be really foolish of me to). I was just wondering if any of you have any information as to what the process is to practice in the UK with a US medical degree? Also, when can you actually move over there? after med school? after residency? Any information would be great. Thanks!!
