If I get into a UK (or even an EU) med school, will I be able to work as a doctor in the United States? Thanks.

You will have to pass a written and oral examination (most likely in the form of multiple days of questions in your specialty such as "Patient X exhibits symptoms such as A, B, and C - would could this be?) with the American Board of Medicine in your field.

You'll also have to prove to them that you understand conversion rates! Giving a patient the wrong Rx for their weight or thinking in MLs when you should be thinking in Ccs could be detrimental.

I hope that helps!
