I am looking at going to the University of South Alabama, UAB, or Meharry, and I was wondering if there is anyone out there who knows what good stats for USA are. I have a 25 (boo) on the MCAT to go with my 3.9 GPA from a Private Liberal Arts School and over 1500 volunteer hours. I was just wondering what these schools usually take?

Here's a link to UAB med's <a href="http://main.uab.edu/uasom/2/show.asp?durki=3614" target="_blank">recent class profiles</a>.

The most recent numbers for USA were around a 3.7 and 29.5.

While Meharry's averages may be low (I don't know the stats off the top of my head.), their class size is small (around 60), and I think 75-80% of the class is African American.

For the most recent stats, take a look at MSAR (Medical School Admissions Requirments).
