Hey guys! I applied to USC's residential program and got the confirmation email in November. They said they would notify us by April whether or not we get in. I saw on here that a lot of people have already gotten acceptance emails in January and such. Makes me wonder if I am going to get declined. Anyone else waiting to hear back from them? Thanks!

I was on the same boat as you, they sent me a rejection letter yesterday 🙁

Think of it as saving a lot of money. Nothing wrong with the program, but it's like buying a Lamborghini when a Honda is more than fine.

Has anyone heard back in regards to the USC hybrid program?
Yes I got my admissions letter in January. When I went to the open house on Feb 22, it looked like 12 people got accepted for the hybrid program. I know they are still accepting and considering applicants

I haven't heard back yet either, I applied around october and they received my application early december. I know a few people who were accepted feb 5 and another person who was just waitlisted about two weeks ago. Makes me worried that I haven't heard back yet either but I think they are going to send another wave of acceptance/waitlist emails soon.

do you mind sharing your stats?
Sure but my stats are **** and I have a unique background because I applied using my master's degree. I think the only way I got in was because I did really well post-undergrad.

My undergraduate degree GPA was 2.67 and after retaking courses it only got up to 2.78. This figure is what PTCAS calculated and it's my cumulative undergraduate GPA. My master's GPA is 3.96 which makes my overall GPA a 2.92. So nothing praiseworthy here lol

Below is my GRE stats:
Verbal: 151
Quant: 146
Writing: 4.5

Hours: 2000+ (I just put 2000 on my sheet. Its more but I couldn't get the other clinic to validate my hours worked there)
Work experience: My bomb ass resume.

I also submitted rec letters from two PT's, one from a professor from my master's program, and one from an old boss (undergrad dean) that I still keep in contact with. I'm not sure how helpful this will be for you. USC is the only one that accepted me from the programs I have applied. Everyone else has either rejected or waitlisted me.

Hey guys, check your spam folders and all of your inboxes. My acceptance email didn’t come to my main inbox, so I saw it about a week after it had been sent!

When did you get your acceptance email? Also when did you submit your application?

I submitted my application for the hybrid program late January before the early deadline, but I still haven't heard anything from them.
