I need help. I was recently awarded scholarships from both MU and USC (Keck) medical schools. I'm a Missouri resident and have lived here for a long time. I'm very indecisive and have to choose either the far away big city private school (Keck) or close by at Mizzou. I would appreciate some help from current or perspective students of either.

Mizzou
state school
lots of PBL
Cheap area to live in (400-500$ a month on rent)
small college town
I'm pretty comfortable here (lots of friends that attend MU)

USC
Far away
Similiar curriculum
Huge city
ranked higher (research)

oooh $$$...congratulations.

I would definitely pick USC. LAC+USC hospital.

Unless you really want to stay in Missouri for residency, then stay there.

disclaimer: know nothing about missouri, withdrew post-acceptance from USC
