USC preliminary review-what's that?

i just got a letter from usc saying that they it has "completed preliminary review and has proceeded to the next lefel of review", where every aspect of the app is reviewed.
should i be happy that i made through here, or does pretty much everyone get that letter? 😕

It means you met their preliminary cut offs for gpa and DAT. Be thankful you didn't get rejected right off the bat. 🙂
