Use LOR from away elective at one program for another program/city?

    Say for example, if you did an away elective as a 4th year at a Boston program and received a LOR can you use that LOR for other Boston programs and/or other city programs, perhaps NYC or even the west coast? Does this look “bad” that you didn’t do an away elective at their program or even in their city?

      Doesn't have to look bad. When (if) asked, you simply tell them that logistically (i.e. housing, cost) it was the easier place to rotate at, and that you simply were looking to see how different programs are run outside of your own home institution.
