Hello all! In my first semester of freshman year I received a 3.72 gpa, and I am currently finishing up exams and will not know my final gpa until another weeks or so. I currently have a C+ in discrete mathematics, and am thinking about using a pass/fail grade in order to protect my gpa (as it should go up this semester because I've done a little better). Will medical schools look down upon using a pass/fail grade, especially for a class that is not a pre req to medical school?

Thanks all!

No one will notice or care if its one p/f grade. They probably also wont notice or care if its a single C+ either .
